Amsterdam could hold a special place in the hearts of modular buildings fans. It’s a city with amazing architecture, and often the LEGO replicas of Amsterdam’s buildings can be seen online. This set of buildings by Barrie Crossan is no exception. The exterior of the buildings is instantly recognized as Dutch, and despite the dark colours on the facade, your attention is easily drawn closer to inspect the detailing. My favourite are the white frames around the windows, and intricate details on the roof section of the brown building. The backs of the buildings are rather bare compared to the interesting fronts, but the interior details make up for that. It’s worth checking them out to find some inspiration.
