Chrome and brown have never looked so good before

Mostly when you build a creation, a larger scale (provided your collection can support it) means you can capture details easier. Some times, however, it is not quite so. Bricksonwheels has recently built this amazing large scale brown and gray truck and some details caught my eye that supports the previous statement. Many chrome areas would be simpler to pull off at scales of similar official sets, like the front grille and the bend in the truck’s exhaust pipe. On the other hand, the shaping of the trailer is pretty much perfect at this large scale and the mudguards are apropriately thin.

As a bonus, the builder should be commended for taking the risk of using brown as the base colour of the vehicle. It may be my favourite colour, but I feel I am very lonely in that opinion…
